Denominazione: Vino Rosso da Tavola. L’Insieme is an assemblage. We picked this denomination because it allows us to have the freedom of interpretation and to utilize grapes that aren’t indigenous to the area, or included in the DOC. This project is a collaboration between us and 8 other winemakers to communicate the values of cooperation and unity not only in a group, but also to the community by donating 5.16 Euros per each bottle produced into a foundation that finances different initiatives of development around the world every year.
Varietal: Nebbiolo 40%, Barbera 30%,
Cabernet Sauvignon 30%. This wine is produced in our cellar as an experiment utilizing the same criteria of quality that we apply to the production of Barolo.

Vinification: We create this wine by assembling the best crus in our vineyards. After 18 months of aging in new oak, we blend 2 barrels of Cascina Nuova, 2 barrels of Barolo(Arborina and Castelletto) and Cabernet Sauvignon. Afterwards it is put in stainless steel tanks to settle and then bottled without fining and filtration, usually in the month of July. The wine is then aged another year in bottle to assure the perfect marriage of flavors.
Color: Intense Garnet
Nose: Mature, small red fruits, spices and licorice. Full-bodied and harmonious. At the beginning you are seduced by the intense aromas of the Barbera and Cabernet, after a moment the austere structure of the Barolo permeates into the nose.
Vintages: Officially you can’t label the vintage of the wine because of the laws of the VDT, but you can deduce the vintage from the lot number on the bottle(i.e L.2.0.0.0)
Serving Suggestions: Red meat and medium aged cheeses.
Recommended Temperature: 18°.
Tasting Notes: It doesn’t necessarily require a long aging in bottle even if the structure and equilibrium allow for it.
